Hello Christine! My name is Krista. I live in Overland Park. On November 18, 2005 I had gastric bypass with Dr. Joya. My pre-op weight (and my HIGHEST weight) was 340 --- I now weigh 150. I lost 100 pounds in the first 4 months!!! I understand that you are due to have surgery on the 9th. I can almost positively assure you that this will be the best decision you have ever made. I have had absolutely NO complications - and received incredible care in PV!!! I would do it again in a heartbeat! If you would like to chat sometime - send me an email to: [email protected].
