"02/08/05: I met with Dr. Barker today. Wow! he was such a nice guy. Very informative and was in tune with what I had to say. I had read other post that he didn't have much bedside manner, but think that's not true at all. My insurance will only approve the Open RNY and I was pretty scared about it, but after talking with Dr. Barker I feel more comfortable with the procedure. I have already had my Pulmonary & Cardiovascular clearence done now all I am doing is waiting for my approval. "
