I have played the 'weighting game' all of my life.  It's easy for me to blame this on my infancy and asthma.  I finally out grew the asthma at age seven, but I truly believe all of the meds back then somehow altered the metabolic system in me.
Cheap cop out, huh?  Well, it makes me feel better!  Face it, I've been up, down and all around.  I grew up on a 300 acre dairy farm chasing the wind and laying in the tall, green grass watching the clouds float by.  Childhood was fantastic, parents were tremendous and life lessons taught me I could  accomplish whatever I desired.
I have been a Weight Watcher over the years, best experince in 1989 when I lost 117 pounds.  I started that journey at 333 and chopped off those pounds.  As with so many others, I plateaued, life brought about change and the scales started creeping up again.  Finally, I have been handed this great opportunity to 'git ur done'...and, I'm so glad.
If you were to peer at my medical records, you would find multiple 'things' that I have going on here.  A few of those 'things' were the remnants of undiagnosed Sleep Apnea in the past.  Luckily, I lived to tell about it following 10 days in the hospital with the experts at St. Luke's in Houston.  But, it left me with some issues and the weight loss in the near future will surely enhance my quality of life and allow me to return to more activities and continue to live and love life all at the same time.
So, here I am....taking this all in and moving one step at a time as directed by the expert surgical team.
Change is good...life is remarkable...attitude is the key!  Ready, set....Houston we're taking care of the problem!!
