I am 18 months post op and have not only exceeded my weight loss goals I have blown them out of the water!!!  I have lost to date 211lbs. You know when I started my journey I said I would be happy to weigh 195 lbs (155lbs loss) and if I never lost another pound I will be happy.  Honeslty I think that is true but now that I have lost another 56lbs I am OVERWHELMED with how good I feel.  My doctor was absolutely shocked when he seen me at one of his weight loss seminars.  That is a great feeling when you can shock the doctors who do this on a daily basis.  This has been a long hard fought battle but I think I am winning the war.  I went shopping since I have no clothes for winter, I thought i was maybe in a 8/10 but I had to go all the way down to a size 5/6 to get a good fit that didn't bag on me. Keep in mind I started out 18mos ago in a size 30/32.  I have not been this small since jr high.  Now this isn't about vanitybut I would be lying if I didn't say it wasn't a great perk from the surgery.  I think I am finally got this eating disorder of mine in check.  18 mos of eating right isn't just a fluke it is a new lifestyle and I love it!!!

Hi Everyone, I am so excited I am 1 year post op and I have lost 155lbs so far.  25 pounds to my goal weight, however I have reached doctors goal weight so that is very exciting.
