It has been slow but I am losing weight...I knew I was going to be a slow loser
I am having problems still with my right knee , and getting the water ..vitamins and protein has been hard for me... This was what I was afraid of... I know I have to but I just forget , I really need to focus on this
I am feeling pretty good now at 12 weeks out==but I still dont have alot of energy, I am doing more but I remember long long time ago I used to get this burst of energy and I can not get it back...I am waiting for the burst of energy I may never ever seen or feel it again. 41 pounds gone is still pretty good when have I ever been able to lose 41 lbs and keep it off for 3 mos....

Finally I get to write something. Been very busy it has been 6 weeks out lost 26lbs Dr thinks I should have lost more. I think I am going to be those few slow losers having problems taking in my water and vitamins , but I will have to try harder. I really wanted to say if you are considering any type of WLS please research and research on the surgeon but what I am really trying to say IF I CAN DO THIS ANYBODY CAN....IT WAS PAINFUL BUT NOT THAT THAT BAD THE MORPHINE HELPED ME SO MUCH....Don't let anything get in the way of your dream to become healthier....I would do it all over again and I still have 100lbs to go :)

I finally got my Duodenal Switch on Jan 12, 2009. Today I finally felt like getting in the computer....it was not easy but it wasnt to hard either...If I can do this anyone can ! I dont think I got good hospital care. I was so disappointed in the Trinity Medical Center in Carrollton, Texas. And Medicare calls them the center of excellence ..medicare will hear how I got treated there...I thought I was getting hospital care in the 1960's. It is sad that United states allows this and medicare forces you to go to a hosptial they call center of excellence when they are not. but really I was already expecting that we pay so much for our premiums and get poor medical care
