One year plus
Dec 15, 2007
I celebrated my surgiversay on November 20th with a little fanfare - ta da!!
Down 125 then, 127 lbs now, I weigh in at 155. Happy Days are here again.
It has been an amazing year weight wise. I NEVER thought I would wear a size 8 - in fact, I can't ever remember wearing a size, even as a teenager.
I've also lost 82 inches. It was taking my measurements that got me through the weight plateaus.
I have never, ever regretted having this surgery. To me, it has been and will forever be, a blessing.
25 weeks out (6 months and a week)

The past few weeks have been very hectic, what with moving, being sick and having a very busy time at work. No wonder I've veen losing weight! I love the house, so much room! Last year, the stairs would have been a no-no, but now, I fly up and down with ease! I am so blessed to have had this surgery.
After not taking measurements for several weeks, I was amazed to see 61 inches gone!!! That is only 1 inch less than my HEIGHT!
I'm really looking forward to the summer.
Thanks to all of my OH friends for being so supportive, especially my "coffee" buddies.

However, the past few days, the weight is creeping downward - yay!! I've also battled an upper respiratory infection for almost 3 weeks, but am finally feeling more energetic. With that, I've started excercising to "Red Hot Salsa" (highly recommend) and cleaning my house!
Weight at start of pre-op - 282.3
Weight day of surgery - 276
Weight on 1/21/07 - 235
Total lbs lost - 47.3 (I can't wait until I hit the big 50!!!)
Total inches lost - 29.25 (at 8 weeks out).
This is so cool!!
Thanks to all for your advice and support.

My diet to date consists of juice, broth, SF popsicles and SF Jello. I can't wait until my first follow up appointment on Wednesday. There should be no problem with moving up to pureed foods!!!
