Update on my JOURNEY!!!

I know I haven't updated my blog about my wt lost journey in awhile. SHAME on ME!!!

Well the journey has been just delighful. Im 8wks post-op now, down to 251. My goal is 250, I haven't seen that number in almost 13 yrs. I had my first fill on June 13th and that was CRAZY. The dr. was going to give me 2cc, but we ran into a problem. First he couldn't find my port because I had fluid around it. So, that had to be drained (took out 10cc of fluid) 
Then he went on to give me the fill and I tried to drink the water and it got STUCK. UGH!!! So I had to sit up with this needle sticking out of me, while he took some fluid out. Now, I had my girls with me and they seen it all. My 11yr old was in the corner with her face covered. lol. And my 7yr old was by me helping the dr. Now he has a new assistant, LMAO!!!
Well, anyway he ended up taking out 1cc, so I only have 1cc in my band. I go back on Aug 15th for my next fill. Im not having any issues. I don't eat much and Im still trying new healthy food. I can eat salad now, so that is a PLUS. I do eat alot of meat, have to get my PROTEIN...

My hubby is still doing AWESOME!!! He has 3cc in his band, but he can eat anything and everything. If I let him. He goes back this month on the 22nd to get another fill. He said he needs one BAD!!! Its like he never had the surgery. But he is still loosing wt. He just lost another 2.4lbs last week (he weights every thursday). Yayyy!!!!. Im still battling this 1lb for that last week or so. Im very PROUD of him. We both feel like we are in our 20s again.
 Its now like we are old or anything like that, LOL!!

Im still walking. Thats the only exercise I do right now. I have been having some pain issues with my neck and arms. So Im kinda scared to try anything else. I goto pain management, but they just have me on meds, UGH!!!

But anyway Im soo PROUD of myself. My clothes are just falling off me, but I was scared to buy anything new in a smaller size. Well last week I bought a new shirt in a 2x and it was a lil big on me.  I was like yes, this is really happening. IM LOSING WT!!!! WOOHOOO!!!  I know I have lost, but sometimes you need that added incentive to show you that you are.  I know I have went down in pants, but I haven't bought any yet. Thats next. lol!!!

Everything is going just GREAT right now. We are going on a small vacation at the end of the month. I can't wait for hubby and I to got on our lil vacation together. Im thinking Gatlinburg, TN. I love that place and we haven't been since 2007, so that would be an AWESOME trip. Well thats all for right now. Like I said before, this is one of the BEST decisions I have ever made. I love my BAND!!!
