Well I have been thinking of the surgery since 2005 and I ran into an old friend who received the Lap Band. WOW she looked great. She gave me her number and the rest is history. My doctor is Teixiera at St. Luke’s Hospital in New York City. He is great and very understanding to my needs. So I did the 6 months weight in that my Health insurance requires, I also did my physiological part with Dr. Nancy Ryburn which went very good. She was very nice and really understanding but had to pay a fee of $150.00 dollars. In addition, I had my sonogram done the results where good. Now I have to have a stress test on March 13, 2007. The hospital requires you attend two support groups which was extremely helpful. You get all types of people Pre Opt & Post opt. very friendly environment. You get different types of views of the types of surgery. So my Dr. scheduled my surgery for March 29, 2007! Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeee cannot wait but I am very nervous but this is pending on how my stress test goes. So I will keep you posted on how this goes.
I wish I looked as good as this vitual model but that is not the case.
