Thanks to WLS I have a brand new life & Modeling Career

Oct 17, 2011

I don't want to bore anyone with a long drawn out tale but would like everyone to know that I feel fantastic, healthy, happy & have a new outlook on life. Please be aware that this surgery is not an easy fix and still requires much work & dedication on your part for the rest of your life but if you follow the doctors instructions , take good care of yourself & realize that this surgery has given you a second chance you are headed in the right direction. When contemplating this procedure 9 years ago I was terrified because it comes with many risks including death which can happen with any surgery so it is extremely important that you discuss it with your physician, surgeon, family and those who are important in your life. I also found the group meetings & talking with those who have undergone the procedure very helpful. My surgeon was wonderful and the entire hospital staff was caring and supportave as were my friends, relatives and family. Afterwards was a struggle with the vomiting, learning to eat a whole new way, some depression and a few minor health scares I had to deal with. But with determination and a new outlook on life I kept moving forward with fantastic success. Here it is 9 years later & I am 144 pounds, happy, healthy, thankful and very lucky because all of this hard work has led me to a new career as a professional model. I wish all of you the best and if anyone just needs to chat, has questions or needs some support please contact me. GOOD LUCK !
