Hi, everyone! I just got home from the hospital a couple of hours ago, took time to love on my kitties, talk to my family a little, and then signed on to thank all of you wonderful folks for your prayers and support. I am doing absolutely fantastic! It is remarkable for a lupus patient to come through an operation without a major loss of energy. But, aside from my sore spots, I feel just as good as I did going in. I have God and many prayers to thank for that. God Bless Each of You, Viv

YEAAAAA :)!!! Vivian is now officially on the losing side! She done excellent! Absolutely no complications from the initial surgery. She was in a lot of pain in the beginning, the delauted (sp?) wasn't doing much, but Dr. Greenlee changed it to morphine and toradol, and it worked really good. After about 4-5 hours after surgery, the nurses got her up to walk, and she walked all over that unit!!! She is having no nausea or vomiting, and is tolerating ice chips just fine, she is mainly just having a lot of pain from her back, from not being able to turn on her sides yet. I am sure she will be home by Sunday evening. Thank you so much for everyone that prayed and signed her support pages :) I know the Lord was with her (and us in the waiting room!). I know she also thanks you so much! God Bless!

Vivian- I pray you have a successful surgery and an even more successful recovery! It's an awesome feeling but it does take some work and getting used to. You said you are at peace with your decision and that tells me you are ready! I know by now you have probably already had your surgery and are in recovery or in your room. Bless you and know you now have a great and wonderful journey ahead! It is worth it! Blessings and Prayers!
