Progress Update

I am still drinking green smoothies, usually 1 in the morning...actually I make a big one, and drink it 2 mornings.  I feel like the liquified fruit and greenery is a good way to start the day.  I have been adding a scoop of vanilla protein because I am not getting all my protein in.  My absolute favorite is the one with a white peach in...OMG! So light and fresh tasting...I so miss those white peaches when their season is over!

I am going out on a limb by trying Almond Silk Vanilla instead of milk...going out on limb because I used to be highly allergic to almonds.  I am hoping that if I use only 1/4 c per day instead of nonfat dairy milk in my coffeehouse shake, it won't do too much damage...it tastes GREAT!  Their website says it changes texture when frozen, so am going to freeze a little bit and see how it is when defrosted...in the protein shake, mixed with the blender, I might not notice the texture change...will see.

I have been under alot of stress at work for the past 3 weeks, and I have had a "stall" of about that long, as well.  This morning, I was down 2 pounds, so maybe I have broken the stall...am cautiously optimistic!
