What is going on?

Well Friends, This is an update to my journey. Today I had my last procedure before insurance approval, an upper gi. I guess they will submit one day next week
. I have been calling this point the finish line but its really the starting gate 
. I can't believe I'm going to be on the losers bench soon and sharing my stories as well
.Self esteem issues never plagued me before and they don't now. But I have been wondering lately, how I'm going to react to the new me. Will I be cocky, or remain as I am confident and comfortable in who and what I will become. So have I been fooling myself all these years? I was ok with my size until I became unhealthy (^cholesterol, diabetes, ^blood pressure, aching joints, etc).
Well, I should know something in the next few weeks

Well friends, I had my psych eval and nutritionist appt yesterday. I will see the midwife for my pap on the 2nd, and then the packet goes to ins for approval.
I am excited yet nervous. 
You know how one feels just before embarking on a new journey. Can't believe its almost here.
