I am 46 years old and have had weight issues before but never to this point. I have severe asthma and that puts me in the hospital alot and on steriods. I would love to blame steriods as being my problem yes they helped but also my not exercising has alot to do with it.
I have attended my first session or lecture on WLS and I am very thrilled to know that I may be able to do this. I still have to talk to my doctor and get his referral and his blessing. I have been seeing him since 2000 and he never once mentioned that I needed to do something about my weight. I think that is the most frustrating part of all of this. He sees me monthly and never once said anything. I hope he will back me on this surgery I need to lose this weight I am tired of hurting when I walk, climb stairs, forget running with the grandchildren. I want all of that. I will be back to talk about how I made out once I talk to him.
