sticking with my original doc. had a good talk with her. she is not a fan of any band surgery for anyone but is willing to do this for me since i have proven to be so stubborn.  I am hopeful all goes well .  I do belong to a few online support groups and feel I can do this.  At this point I am on my liquid diet. I am to drink 6 protein shakes a day. it has been so hot that that has been difficult to do.   also a bit stressed about my dog. he will need to be put down tomorrow evening.  that hasnt helped my appetite either.  I will be positive and focused for surgery on mon.  these things have at least kept me occuppied so I cant become nervous.
