Well....what's to say about me?  My name is Wanda.  I'm 41 years old, live in Easley, SC., and married with one child.  I work in finance during the day and I'm a home baker, cake decorater, and caterer on my off time.  My life is nothing fantastic, but for the most part...I'm content with it.

My trouble with my weight began roughly 10-12 years ago.  I haven't always been a big girl.  My graduation weight (1985) was 92 pounds.  I had my son in 1988 and lost down to 105 pounds 2 weeks after his birth.  Shortly after, my marriage with his father began to rapidly decline and I moved back home with my folks.  What can I say...depression and mom's good country cooking...not a good combination for a girl's waist line. Time went by and after the divorce, I met another man...a really good man that I'm still married to.  He's been a wonderful husband and a very good friend.  He supports my every whem...no matter how far fetched or silly.

I finally decided to have surgery when, about a year ago, I developed a stress fracture in my right food from just walking down the stairs.  My bones and frame are very small and I'm a shorty...4' 11".  My highest weight was 200 pounds at the time.  I have gotten down to 183 as of today and my surgery is next week.  My goal weight is 105 pounds...according to my surgeon.

Anyway, that's about it for me...nothing special, and for the first time I can't wait to become a loser.
