Barnes-Jewish Hospital (COE)

"I was there over the Christmas holiday and while the 2 days in ICU were great, the regular unit staff were absolutly terrible. They would take an hour or more to answer a call light. They left me on a bed side toilet so long that both legs fell asleep and had to be massaged to allow me to walk back to bed. In 3 days in the regular unit I did not get cleaned and only got 1 change of gowns. They did not change me bedding and when my wife picked me up to take me home there was feces and blood on my sheets. Also while transporting me from ICU to the regular unit the guys moving my bed ran me into the wall 5-6 times even after being asked to be careful"

J. Christopher Eagon

"My first impression of Dr Eagon is that he is all about buisness, not much humor. This changed after I saw him in the hospital before and after my surgerywhere we joked and I saw him smiling more. The office staff was very helpful and has always answered my questions and returned calls promptly. The aftercare program is extensive and his followup schedual is good. Dr Eagon is very much straight to the point. He goes over all the risks as well as the benifits of having the surgery. I would and have highly recommended hi to anyone considering WLS."
