Well I went to the doctor and got good report and will not return for three months.  I lost a total of 15 1/2 lbs which was totally amazingly awesome.  This was all by the grace of god that I have been given this wonderful rebirth in my weight loss journey.  I oh it all to him.   So just wanted to let everyone know that was interested in how I was doing.  Sure enjoy reading everyone else's post.   Well I will post again soon until then god be each and everyone in their weight loss journey.

Well I am 2 weeks out from surgery!!!  (YAH)   So excited about the weight loss because I am down about 15lbs.  And I am feeling better everyday.   Just having to transition to the slow down and chew method.  It is definitely a life changing experience to get used to.  But I can actually tolerate grilled chicken which suprised me.  I guess different strokes for different folks.  My sister who had the same surgery back on March 18th cant handle any time of meat at all.  So I am very blessed to be able to tolerate meat where I can get my protein in.  I do eat cottage cheese as well for my protein.  So yes the lord is blessing me daily.  Just wanted to touch base with everyone.  My hubby wont know who I am when he finally comes home from overseas.  And I sure cant wait to see his face when he sees his new wife of 25 yrs.  Just love that man so much and am so very proud of him.  Well enough babbling about my life.  Hope and pray you all are doing well on your weight loss journey or those about to start that weight loss journey.  It is anamazing feeling and blessing from god above.  Until next time keep in touch.

Well hello everyone!!! I am on the (Weight Loss Journey) finally. And I am doing quite well actually. So far have kept everything down. Incision is healing well. Now just ready to get on with the workouts so that I can get this weight off and tone my body up. So can't wait either because my wonderful loving husband is serving over in Afganistan. He won't come home for his R&R until the every end of January 2012. So imagine what he will come home to. A totally different wife and I can't wait. So very excited!!! Well enough of my boring story. Just so excited. Will post again later.

Well surgery is just 2 days away.  Getting a little nervous the closer it gets I think.  But then I reassure myself god is with me and to leave it in his hands.  So then my nervousness and fear is lifted away.  We have an awesome god.  The only thing that will be missing is my sweet hubby whom is serving in Afganistan.  But I know he is going to be with me in heart and soul.  My sister and son will be with me on that day as well as my LORD JESUS CHRIST so I am in good hands!!!

Well got a call from Dr. Warnock's office today and they told me that my insurance approved my surgery.   I am excited but at the same time kinda nervous.   But I have wanted this for so long.  I have to think of the positive outcome of this surgery.   1) diabetes will disappear, 2) blood pressure will taper off to normal, and 3) hopefully the sleep apnea will disappear.   So most of all I will be healthy again for the first time in I dont remember when.   So the count down begins for my surgery on July 15th.
