On Monday June 29th 2009 I am having my first round of plastic surgery.  My doctor is Michael Kreidstein in Scarborough.
The hospital is Scarborough General.  This is the friday night before and i'm to excited to sleep.  I would be lieing if i said i wasn't worried but we all are before surgery right? .  I don't think anyone enjoys the thought of surgery but I am looking forward to the outcome.  I am having a tummy tuck with what they  call an anchor cut along with a breast lift.  The recovery i'm not afraid of because i have had surgeries before like C section, gallblader, two total knee replacements along with my gastric by pass and not afraid of the pain or the work to accomplish what i need to.  the doctor says some of the other surgeries i have had before were a lot more risky.  I am trying to keep myself in a good frame of mind after all there is a lot less of me this time.

I have lost 187 pounds now and gone from 327 pounds to between 140-143.  I never thought i would see this day.  Everyone tells me how skinny i am but when i look in the mirror i see FAT.  Of course i know its flabby skin but i want to see what other people see in me. In September if this has all healed well i am going back to have my arms done.

My only regret is that my mom didn't see me this way.  I have been heavy all my adult life and mom passed away 1995.
Come to think of it I don't think mom ever thought i was fat because she alway told me how beautiful i was . 

Her i am 11 months post op.  I have lost 158 pounds and have reached the goal My gastric bypass surgeon gave me.  I want to lose about another 19 - 24 pounds.  This included the weight i want to lose with my plastic surgery.  Yep I'm starting into that part of the journey.  I always knew i would be that percentage that would not be happy until the skin was removed.  My consult is November 10th with Dr. Wanzel in Toronto.  I want a tummy tuck, breast reduction, under arms, and thighs eventually. I have gone from a size 30 in slacks to a size 12.  I put on a sexy nighty last night that i haven't worn since i was 16 and it fits me better now at the age of 55.  I have turned into a cloths and shoes fanatic which i have never been in my life.  I get comments on my style and how nice i look.  its strange for me to get possative feedback instead of people making fun of me because i'm fat.    I am enjoying this life . I like reinventing the new me.

Its six months since my surgery and i am down 108 pounds.  I feel FANTASTIC.  I am walking, riding my recumbant bike as well as weight lifting.  I work in a medical office and hear dayly from our clients about the difference.  I have turned into a girly girl to LOL.  fingernails, new hair cut and colour, bought a blue saffire and diamond ring for myself when i reached my 100  pound weight loss.
