Had my visit to Moncton yesterday for Pre-admission

Had a great day yesterday in Moncton of course I got there about an hour earlier then planned but that was ok because I went and had my blood work done and my ECG and then I walked down to the x-ray department for my chest x-rays and there I sat and waited well over 2 hours because for some reason they were delayed and it was very busy which they said is very unusual because normally it takes about 20 mins tops to get your x-rays done. That was ok I sat there and a patient that had been waiting before me and overheard me mentioning to the receptionist that I was here for my pre-admission tests for the lapband for August so I had a very nice conversation with her and her husband, she is having her surgery August 21st and she is having the sleeve. By the time everything was finished it was after 5pm and since my DH and son Michael came up for the drive we then drive to Costco which is one of my favorite places to go and we also went to WalMart and then homeward bound we were. But first we stopped at the Big Stop Irving in Salsbury for something to eat because I had not eaten all day the food is so good there. I was stuffed.My next visit to Moncton before surgery will be August 3rd just to go to the barriatric clinic to get weighed as I will have been ont he shakes for a week by that time and they want to make sure I am loosing the weight on the shakes. My appointment on the 3rd is at 11:00am. Than the big day will be a week later August 10th at 7:00am I have to be there and my surgery is scheduled for 9:30am. My stomach is in knots I guess reality is kicking in more so now.
I am very excited and it has been a long wait.
