     My name is Mindee. I am a 35 year old mama of 3 gorgeous boys and a fine ass hubby, who are very supportive in my choice to have the gastric bypass RNY surgery. My sons are David 17 yrs old, Armando 13 yrs old, and mah baby Danni, he is 9 yrs old.

     I have been interested and have done a lot of research on this surgery since 2004. Finally my BIG DAY is approaching on Oct. 27, 2008. YYEAAAHHHH!!!!!    I am getting very anxious, nervous, and just flat out ready!!! Some days I don't know whether to throw up or jump up and down. I could use supportive friends who dont mind sharing their experiences and knowledge on the RNY surgery. I would be very appreciative.

     My family and my employees at work are very supportive and excited for me. They have seen me go through all sorts of diets and excercising just to have my heart broken at the end. I would lose some weight and it would come back and then some. You would of thought there was a fat party at my body.

     My mom, dad, and sister do NOT want me to have this surgery, they are very scared for me. It's because we all have been through so much with surgeries. I had open heart surgery at age 3, mah sister had the same at age 6, my oldest son David has had 4 heart surgeries the latest one was this past April 2008, my middle son Armando had his left Kidney removed due to a 5lb tumor. So yah... we have been through the war withour joining the service. I just tell my mom that she should go online and research the gastric bypass surgery or she can even look at my binder from the doctors. Anyways I also tell her I dont want to turn 40 and then take all kinds of medications, or start having issues with my heart. On my mom's side of the family they all die from their heart.

     When I decided to proceed with the surgery, of course after my hubby's insurance covered it I had to do the 6 month diet. I started this diet on March 2008. My starting weight was 271.50 and now as of Oct. 2008 my weight is 236. I hope I do good. Ok ya'll please say a little prayer for me, and I will keep in touch. Bye for now.
