Its not just a decision, its a lifestyle change.

Dec 31, 2010

I'm 2.5 years post op. I have somehow forgotten the effort and strength it took to lose over 100 pounds. In such a relaxed state, I have gained back up to 162 and boy did the weight come easily. I neglected to keep track of the foods I ate, my water intake, and excerised as often as I went on vacation. So here's to a change (and not because it New Year's Eve). I'm a teacher and I've had the past two weeks off from work. With this time off, I realize that I could easily incorporate my previous work out routine into my daily schedule. I actually think it will help me to be more energized in the classroom. Also, when I was physically active (cardio/strength training 3-4 days each week) I remember that junk food actually tasted like junk. I miss that :) Right now, cookies and chips are delicious. I want that craving for the healthy foods again. I'm posting a pic or two of me at my current weight and we'll see how successful I am at melting away in 2011.
