I am soooo exicited because I am officially 101 lbs down!  I am so happy I don't know what to do with myself... maybe I'll ,, and for a while!

I am in awe at this moment!  My supervisor gave me some uniforms because everyone wants me to stop wearing my saggy, baggy old ones!  Nursing scrubs get expensive!   I put the uniforms that were given to me to the side because they were size 1x; I have alway worn size 3x/ 4x. So in my head I said "It'll be a good while before I fit into these"!  Well...to my surprise I'm wearing the hell out of these size 1x nursing uniforms!  I haven't slipped on a 1x since I was a teenager!    Yay Me!,

I'm on my way to the hospital to get prepped for my surgery today.  I wasn't nervous until my 6 year old started crying this morning before he got on the school bus.  Please keep me I'm your prayers!

Tomorrow morning I'll be on my way to start my new journey.  With all that I have been through, l can say that this moment is bittersweet for me cause l am finally on my way to the losers bench!  Keep me in your prayers OH family!

I got my surgery date...... March 28th!!!  Loser bench here I come!  I'm so excited!

I completed my requirements today....Yay me!  I have a follow up appointment scheduled for March 7.  Hopefully at that visit everything will be submitted to my insurance for approval...Keeping my fingers crossed!  I am sooooo excited!

I went to see my surgeon for a consult today.  He felt it was better for me to have RNY instead of VSG...I am okay with that.  I was told that since my insurance does not require a 6 month supervised diet, the process will not be a long one.  I go in for a EGD on Feb. 11 and hopefully I can get an appointment for my pre op counseling earlier that same day.  Once the psychiatrist contacts me, I'll be ready for my surgery date.  Go Cicily, Go Cicily....I am sooo exited

I finally got an appointment date for my consultation for January 25th with my surgeon!  I can't wait.... I'm so excited

I received a job offer today and I accepted!  I will be going back to my previous job and the insurance covers WLS!! Prayer changes things and once I'm settled on my new job I will be starting my journey!!!!

Well.... I'm a little discouraged.  I found out today that my insurances plan excludes WLS.  This is such a bummer, I don't know what to do at this point. I finally made up my mind to do this surgery and it's not covered.  I really thought the plan I had was a great plan being that it was a County government plan.  THIS REALLY SUCKS!
