"The VBG surgery he did on me back in 1989 was a newer surgery back then. I believe he did an excellent job on my surgery. It kept most of my excess weight off for 20 years until my gastroenterologist broke my band or broke something during an endoscopy with balloon dilatation, after which I gained all of my weight back that I kept off for 20 years.
Dr. Rout did not have a great bedside manner, but competence as a surgeon is much more important if you can't have both!"
