Thanks for the message that reminds me that I should do an update. I'm now living in Mesa Az. for the winter after spending the summer in Everett, Washington. I am doing good with the exception of worrying about regaining some of that miserable weight. I have regained about 20 pounds and can't seem to get my bad eating habits under control. Any suggestions would be welcome. I'm now divorced and with the love of my life who is very thin. I can't gain anymore weight or I'm in a heap of trouble. Plus not being able to wear most of my clothes. Just curious if any of you are having this problem?

I have been going through the lists at obesityhelp.com and am advising Everett & other local residents of the next two WLS Support Group meetings. First of all, I'd like to mention that our meetings are very informal (at least, for now) and come-as-you-are, wherever you are in your journey. The meetings are scheduled for Mondays, 11/10/03 and 12/8/03 at 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Everett Public Library - Evergreen Branch. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to e-mail me at [email protected]. I hope to see you there! Your AMOS sister, Deana Ferrari

7/8/03---- What a 20 month period this has been for me. My life has done a complete change. I'm down 140 pounds and have reunited with my High School sweetheart after being apart for 46 years. Life is good. I'm now living in Minneapolis but will be going back to Seattle in about 9 months. I would recommend this to everyone carrying a heavy load like I was. My legs and back are relieved to have less of me. Carolyn Post-op 11/12/01 Open RNY Dr. Weber Seattle.

Hi Carolyn, I was just wishing your angelette, Linda, a happy 1st re-Birthday when I saw your name and decided to pop over to your profile. Your last name caught my eye because I used to live in Seattle and had a good friend named Terril Mortenson. Anyhow, you sure do look like a million dollars! Congratulations on your awesome weight loss and a late happy re-Birthday to you! I hope this next year will be your best ever!

Well all I can say about my year from 11/12/01 through 11/12/02 is that it has been a journey I'll never forget or regret. I can't believe what losing this 123 pounds has done for my self esteem and my personal life. I had shut the door on so many friends that had not seen me in years and now I have re-opened it to many and feeling like the same old Carolyn of years ago. Thanks to everyone for the wonderful support.

My 10 month picture was just posted today. I'm thrilled beyond word to describe how much better I feel and am also pleased at how much better I look. Seeing is believing. I'm so glad I did this and would do it again in a minute. I've gone from 281# to 169# and lost a total so far of 116".I will celebrate my 1 year anniversary on Nov. 12th. Carolyn
