Yipps
Well, I've been overweight all of my adult life. I was always the big kid on the playground. My 3 sisters are also overweight, as is my mother. Dad is in great shape. Despite being overweight, I managed to live a normal lifestyle that included Scouting, football and tennis. Currently golf is my vise and I enjoy it very much. I have a beautiful, supportive and loving wife Tracie and in March of 2007 we welcome our son Tyler into our family. Conceiving was an issue, as I am told "my" infetility factor was due in most part to my obesity. Despite this all, a group of wonderful IVF doctors were able to help us become parents and we are truly enjoying the experience. Being a husband and parent has made me realize what life ahead I have to live and guided me towards this decision to change my way of life and have RNY gastric bypass. I'm nervous, but looking forward to the challenge. I'm now planning on being around a long time and enjoying life with my family.
