Hi Yvette.....I have been checking here often to see how you have been doing. It sounds like things are going pretty normal, even though your hurting. I do hope each day your feel somewhat better. Where are you staying? I would love to come an visit you if your up to some company. If not, I completely understand. Praying for a fast recovery, Colleen

Well, Well...your time is finally here. Tomorrow you are going to be a VSG'er! Don't worry, you have a good surgeon, and you have picked the best WLS out there. This is one of the kindest things you will ever do for yourself, healthwise. I'll be thinking about you all day Oct.30th, and remember to post when you are able, so we can keep up with your progress! Tuesday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench!

Hi Yvette...I am new here, but wanted to get in touch with a few of Dr, Glucks patients. First,I just so happy for you.. surg. date finally. I have finally completed my 6 month weight loss program at Mercy. I now have been authorized to meet with Dr. Gluck for an evaluation. I am very excited and nervous at the same time. What is making me nervous right now is that I don't know if I have gained any weight since I completed the program in Aug. I am not sure how Dr. Gluck will feel if I have gained.
