I visited a fellow By Passer in the hospital today!

I was very fortunate to meet a fellow By-Passer at Genesis Hospital today. She had 'found' me on-line at one of the sites for WLS I post to, and we ended up talking quite a bit. Her surgery was the 13th, and I was able to meet her face to face today. What an awesome feeling to actually meet someone who is just beginning the journey down the road you just traveled. I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet such a wonderful, kind woman. I know she will do exceptionally well in the years to come! I am thrilled to be able to 'watch' as she melts away the outer cover. Everything about this surgery still amazes me.
