Andrew P. Kramer

"Dr. Kramer is my dad. I grew up in the hospital watching him deal with his patients and I was with him through his own gastric bypass and while he was being educated on how to do them. I basically have been in the hospital with him since I was 3 years old. Now, I'm 18, and I owe much of my maturity to spending time with him and his staffs. He's a good doctor, highly educated, caring, and he'll stick with patients every step of the way. He won't give up on patients, and as long as you listen to him and follow his directions, you will have a successful surgery. He does his job, the success is in the hands of the patients. What some patients don't like is that he's so straightforward, but I appreciate that because he doesn't dance around the truth. He truly cares about his patient and that makes him work better and harder. I love my dad, but that's not why I'm doing this. He's a great doctor, and he always does what's best for the patient. That's why I'm doing this, for the patients. If you're considering bariatric surgery, or changing doctors, consider Dr. Kramer. And by the way, his office has moved to Kingsport, TN. So the people on this website need to get that right. He moved almost 3 years ago."
