Monday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I know how excited and nervous you must be at this point in time. My wish for you is that you have as perfect a surgery and uneventful recovery as I did. You won't care that everyone is eating all day on Christmas. This is the start of a whole new and healthy life. Yes, you will eat hamburger and steak again. You just won't need as much. Life is good.
