Dr. Fallon came highly recommended to me. His bedside manner is missing but his expertise makes up for it. His life is definitely his work. His assistant Detra is a God-sent. She is pleasant, courteous, and very helpful. He explained the risks of the procedure and has a medical team that he works with to make sure you are ready both physically and emotionally for this serious surgery.

My first impression was he was very serious and quite honest about the risks and benifits of this procedure.
I realized not only was he a good doctor, I realized he was very compassionate to the feelings of his patients and their families. He spent tons of time explaining the procedure to me, and when I was in recovery he spect 40 minutes with my family expalining the success and answering questions.
Office staff was fantasic. Deitra is his insurance girl she is wonderful and quite aggressive.
Patient should know Dr. Fallon will not lie to you. If you are honest with him he will be honest with you, and he will drive you crazy with preliminary testing, yet He has never lost a patient.
If he does not think you will follow his aftercare He will send you to another doctor. He is a stickiler for aftercare.
He addressed the risks from infection to death. He was quite honest.
I rate Dr. Fallon as a 10+.!!!
Both His surgical Competence and bedside manner are great.

I was impressed with Dr Fallon by his reputation alone as being a great Trauma Surgeon @ Metro Health Medical Center. He is very serious, straight to the point and confident. His secretary is wonderful! Her name is Diedra and she knows how to submit your paperwork for approval. She handled everything for me. My approval took about 1 month. When I first met Dr Fallon I thought he lacked personality. He was so serious all the time. After I had time to think about everything I realized he has to be serious because this is a very serious, life altering procedure and he has to make sure his patients are committed to his post-op plan of care for a good out come after the surgery. Otherwise all the work he has done would be a waste of his time. There is nothing I really dislike about him other than I wished he would have seen me daily in the hospital post-op instead of sending his residents to visit. However, his residents were wonderful and very attentive to my needs. Metro's aftercare only involves seeing your surgeon and a nutritionist. There needs to be a more comphrensive post-op plan of care incorporating psychological and emotional support during this process. Otherwise my experience with Dr Fallon and Metro has been great. I recieved excellent nursing care post-op also. I feel surgical competence is more important than bedside manner but to have both would be great!
