Dr. Kramer was a very nice man. He explained every thing I needed to know about the sergury. I still have high regards of Andrew Kramer. The office staff was wonderful, very nice and understanding. Actually there was'nt anything I did'nt like about him. I feel that future patients shoul feel comfortable with Dr. Kramer. He is straight up and very proffesional. He made it clear how important after caRE IS AND i KNOW i HAVE TO WANT THIS FROM THE INSIDE OUT. Yes, He has support meetings where you can meet other people in your same situation. He was totaly straight up about all the risks. I rate Dr. Kramer as a wonderful doctor and person. He cares about your well being totaly. Both are very god.

Will meet Dr. Kramer on Feb 18th for the first time. I was impressed on the quickness to get an appointment.

After waiting 2 and 1/2 hours for my scheduled appointment (which had already been postponed once) my first impression of Dr. Watson was that he had waaaaay too many patients and that he did not take this surgery seriously enough for my taste. Part of his office staff was friendly enough the remained made it clear through their actions that they felt overworked. Their lack of organization about drove me nuts. I had my first appointment in the beginning of November after NUMEROUS attempts to contact his office I was FINALLY given a date of March 28th. Even with that date the office staff member that gets the insurance approval made it clear to me (in a slightly rude tone) that she would not even be calling for my insurance approval until in March. I could not stand their lack of organization and never being able to get hold of them (this really concerned me when I thought about what if you were having an emergency) I made an appointment with Dr. Andrew Kramer in Lebanon, VA which is much closer to my home and absolutely LOVED him and everyone of his staff (Mary and Kathy you are both true angels). Dr. Kramers office had my surgery date and insurance approval in less than a week. Because of cancellations my surgery in only one week away!!!! No matter how far you have to travel PLEASE go see Dr. Kramer. He is absolutely WONDERFUL!

My first appointment with Dr. Kramer was on 1-24-03. I found him to be very informative. I was very impressed with him & his staff. Everyone seemed so nice. I also really liked how Dr. Kramer took the time to explain all aspects of the surgery. I'm so HAPPY I chose Dr. Kramer!

Upon my first meeting of Dr. Andrew Kramer, I felt as if he was very honest and straight forward. He shared many different surgical options with me. He seemed to be a very caring and kind surgeon. I felt I had made a good choice for a doctor. Dr. Kramer spent a lot of time describing the procedure and aftercare including nutrition, risks of the surgery and after. It was annimate about attending the counseling sessions he provided before and after the surgery. After attending the first session, I knew why. He was very thourough with his presentation and offered first hand experience with his patients present for questions and comments. My surgery is scheduled for Feb. 26th. I feel confident in my surgeon, the facitity, and my care.
I am however, very scared. I am always afraid for surgery---ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!!! I know that Dr. Kramer appears a little obbsessive compulsive which is great, maybe he will obsess about doing a good and careful job on me.

Dr. Kramer is both an excellent surgeon and a very nice man as well. His office staff is outstanding! He and his staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond for me in many ways. The hospital he uses is less than perfect, but my overall experience was good and I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Kramer.

My first visit to see Dr.Kramer was one of the most informative and structured office visit I have ever had,and that's saying alot because I am a nurse myself. Dr.Kramer is very self confident,reassuring..without being "pushy" or in a hurry. He also leads his own support group!!!It meets weekly. His office staff were awesome!!Everyone was so nice.

My first impression of Dr. Kramer was remarkable. He was very thorough and up front in relaying all that would be involved in the surgery, different types of surgery that were available and why he did or didn't like them. He was very understanding and helpful and offers a wonderful support team--staff and peer meetings every week. Dr. Kramer was very up front with the benefits and risks of the surgery explaining the most common risks and complications that have been encountered and occur more often like pheonumonia (sp), blood clots and pouch leakage. I feel very confident in him and know that he perform a good surgery and that if I have any questions, before or after the surgery, either him or someone on his staff will be there to answer the question. He has a very structured aftercare program and encourages you to return to the peer meeting to relay your experience and accomplishments to others who have had the surgery or who are interested in it. From what I know so far about Dr. Kramer, I think he is a first rate doctor and would (and have) recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Kramer was younger than I expected him to be, but he seemed very competent after speaking with him. The nurses were very polite and respectful. Dr. Kramer spent an unusual(compared to most Dr.s) amount of time with me and explained everything about the surgery; before, during, and after. He very patiently answered all of my questions (and there were many). I was overall very impressed with this Dr. He also told me that he was on call 24/7 for all bariatric patients in case of emergency. I found this to be astounding. That is quite a load he is carrying for all of his patients. That to me says that he is a Dr. that has got in this business for all the right reasons - care of people - and not just money.
