Dr. Baranov and his entire team are great from my first appointment to my surgery 10 months later to calling on me after my surgery. Everyone was professional and polite and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend anyone to call Dr. Baranov and his team to start the process.

Dr. Baranov is a wonderful doctor.He is straight to the point and very caring doctor. He tells you if you follow what he tells you, you will succeed,and I have and it's so true.I couldn't have had a better doctor.His team is great.

Dr. Dmitri Baranov and his team are awesome! They helped me from the very beginning, by making me feel comfortable, and more knowledgeable about my decision to have bariatric surgery. They are all consummate professionals, and every aspect of my surgery was handled meticulously (including preparatory and follow-up care). Also, the care given to me by Saratoga Hospital, where he performed the surgery, was top-notch. Staff at the hospital were like an extension of his practice, trained to assist and care for bariatric patients. They were excellent care-givers, and it was easy to see that they held Dr. Baranov in high regard. Positive comments from the staff about his methods and thoroughness were heard often. You can tell that Dr. Baranov really cares about his patients and their success, as he works hard to get you on the right path, and he gives you the tools to stay there. If you are considering bariatric surgery, I highly recommend you consider Dr. Baranov!

I had surgery on March 11,2019. I spent one day in the hospital and have had no complications whatsoever. Dr. Baranov called on Saturday to check up on me as well as the staff from Saratoga Hospital. I absolutely cannot say enough good things about Dr. Baranov and his office! They have been amazing through my journey, and it is just beginning!!!

I have been working with their office since before July 2018, and it has been AMAZING! Dr. Baranov is one of the best bariatric surgeons out there and it shows. Not only that, but he takes great pride in his work and cares so much about his patients. He came to see me both days I was in the hospital after my surgery, and has called me twice on Sunday evenings to see how I was doing. I could not ask for a better doctor. Not only that, but he has a terrific sense of humor!

Everyone else at his office does an amazing job and gives their best every day. Rhonda, Karann, Stephanie, Jim, Rachael, and Erica are primarily the people I have seen and they are terrific people who are happy to answer any questions I have had. I have called about 10 times since my surgery, and they have given me answers every time without getting tired of hearing from me! When I was having an issue and needed to be seen, they got me in the same day and made sure I was okay.

I am so glad I came to them for my bariatric journey. I could not ask for people better at their jobs who care as much as they do. They are remarkable people and I am proud to tell everyone about Dr. Baranov and recommend him and his office to everyone I possibly can! Go see them and you won't be disappointed, it will be one of the best decisions you can possibly make!

4 days post sleeve surgery and I feel great! I am so pleased. No pain. No big hunger. Moving well. The toughest part was trying to “sip” 65 ounces of water the first 2 days. I have now.
I am hopeful I will finally be able to lose a significant amount of weight. I should of done this 20 years ago instead of struggling all those years.

Dr. B knows his stuff. He is direct and stern with his words, only to help you; which is helpful for accountability and safety. He doesn’t mess around with testing for potential complications, keeping on top of your case, and he is thorough and detailed. The entire hospital knows him and knows how detailed oriented he is. If there is an issue or complication, him and his staff are on top of it right away, they are always available! His PA Rachael is amazing, sweet and thorough as well! This is the beginning of my journey and couldn’t be happier that I chose this office to help me.

There are not enough words to explain how amazing Dr. Baranov is. He is, in my opinion, the best Bariatric surgeon around. I researched Drs in my area before I saw any and he was hands down the best and most qualified. When I attended his seminar, I knew I had picked the right Dr. He is professional, funny, has a great attitude, and is the most caring Dr I’ve ever met. He cares more about his patients, then any Dr I have ever seen. I wish he could be my Dr for everything honestly. He goes above and beyond in my opinion. I had surgery 01/14/19 and tomorrow will be a week, he called me tonight just to check on me and actually spent time on the phone with me. I was struggling with my weight since I was 20. At 6'4", everyone told me I am a "big guy" and I look fine. I did not feel fine. No energy, getting depressed, severe sleep apnea, high blood-pressure. I was 300lbs and gaining until I finally topped out at 365lbs. At 39 years old, I needed help.

Not only is Dr. Baranov the most professional and qualified surgeon I have ever met, he was genuinely interested in helping those with weight problems. He took my case, and within a few weeks my surgery was scheduled. I never looked back.

I had no complications, issues or problems. I followed the diet to the letter. I drank the water, took the vitamins, and avoided problem foods. If I slipped up, my body told me and it only takes being severely nauseous a few times before you learn.

Today, I am 195lbs, have zero health problems, and feel better than i ever have. All thanks to Dr. Baranov and his team.
