I changed from Dr. Roslin to Dr. Yatco because I felt a warmer embrace with him. As soon as I heard him in the seminar I knew he was going to be my surgeon. My impression was confirmed when I saw him for my first consultation. He took the time to speak to me and really get to know the person behind the surgery. That made all the difference.

In every encounter, Dr. Yatco is compassionate, helpful, immensely calming and thorough in his descriptions. He doesn't rush the meetings and you feel very well taken care of. He is the shining star of that practice!

I first saw him at a seminar and was very impressed. He is very smart and articulate and answered every question to the best of his ability. He listened to what I had to say and was the one to recommend the DS after my Ins denied the VSG. He is a very skilled surgeon and the surgery went fantastic. I did not have any complications and after 6 months I have reached my goal and feel great. I owe Dr Yatco for saving my life and for letting me know there is more than just RNY and Lapband procedures out there. I highly recommend him and his Center!

Met Dr. Yatco for the initial consultation. Dr. Yatco has an excellent bedside manner. He was down to earth and friendly. I spent about 45 minutes with him. He answered all the questions I had written down in my notebook! I am satisfied with his background both educational and surgical. Can't wait for my surgery date!

Overall

From the very first day I was introduced to Dr. Yatco, I fell in love. His professionalism and overall soothing manner had me ready for surgery the same day. The support staff, nutritionist, and Psychologist are all some of the nicest people I've ever met. I remember being extremely nervous when I had my endoscopy back in December. Even then I was met in the OR by Dr. Shah, one of Dr. Yatco's associates and his bedside manner and calming tone had me ready for the VSG right then and there as well. I feel blessed. These professionals covered every question I had and I believe that the VSG is the best option for me. As far as an overall rating...would a 99% be too much? I had to knock off 1% because I had to drive to Manhattan in lots of crazy traffic to get to the offices/hospital ;D

I was very happy with my surgeon. He was extremely patient and interested and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Yatco was concerned when my blood level dropped and made sure I got a transfusion right away to raise my blood levels. He was honest about the worst case scenario and reassured me that no matter what it was fixable and not to panic.
