Great surgeon! Had the surgery done at Northwestern Hospital.

Let me start by saying, God definitely gave Dr, Hungness the talent to make people like myself feel alive again. Not only is this Doctor one of the best at Bariatric Surgery, he comes with a heart of gold in kindness. He performed my Gastric Sleeve and have been happy with the results. He is thorough with all questions, he takes the time to put your mind at ease and most of all shares his professionalism from start to finish.

I found Dr. Hungness to be extraordinarily personable for a surgeon but more importantly he was most professional without being cold and distant, confident without arrogance and most competent and attentive in follow-up during rounds in the days following my procedure.

I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Met Dr. Hungness last April when he led the seminar that I attending at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He did a wonderful presentation. He was available for questions afterward and I was impressed with his personal approach to the participates. His presentation was information and I looked forward to my appointment to start my proceed. I felt I had made a good choice. Followup with Dr. Hungness at the office with my husband. He again was agreeable and knowledgable. My husband had more question which he took the time to answer fully. My husband and I were both impressed by him. Pre-op and Post op, Dr. Hungness and his team were excellent. The day of surgery my husband and sister would with me. They both spoke to him after the surgery. When I arrived to my room they were waiting for me. Both were smiling and happy to let me know that everything had gone well. Dr. Hungness visited soon after and reviewed my surgery with me. I recommend him without reservation. Just saw him yesterday for my post op visit. Things are going well.

I believe that I have chosen one of the best surgeons in the Chicago land area. Dr. Hungness made me feel so comfort during my consultation with him. I am very confident that my surgery will be a success.

Dr. Hungness is very passionate.He saw me everyday while I was in the hospital.Made sure everything was good.The office staff was so friendly and concerned about your well being. They make certain that you know everything about the surgery and they are crutial on making sure you know everything you must do after the surgery.Dr.Hungness tells you the risks of the surgery and he also tell you that he does everything possible to minimize those risks. The whole hospital staff was FANTASTIC!
