Dr. Ferzli earned his medical degree from St. Joseph University School of Medicine in Beirut, Lebanon and completed his general surgery residency at Staten Island University Hospital. He is board-certified in both Surgery and Critical Care Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), the International Surgical Society (ISS), the New York Surgical Society, and many other professional societies.     Dr. Ferzli was very professional with great bedside manner. He is knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. Everyone was very helpful through the process. The support groups were very informative.
