I had bypass surgery about 5 years ago and initally I lost over 130lbs! I felt great, but over time the weight started to come back. My hunger returned and I was eating a lot more than I shoudl have. All my hardwork was disappearing. I was so depressed. Then I attended an online revision seminar hosted by Dr. Garber. He explained that over time my stomach punch can stretch and I can lose the restiriction I once had. I was so relieved to find out that there are others out there like me and that I have options! Through some tests Dr. Garber determined that I am a candidate for revision surgery or band over bypass. It has been a year since then and the weight is coming off. I feel I have my control back. I had the surgery 8 years ago and lost 182lbs. I gained 20 back got the band over bypass not too long ago. I’ve never felt better. I have absolutely no medical problems and I’m 62 years old!! I needed something called a peer to peer review and the whole staff spent the entire day getting me cleared for surgery. I could not believe how helpful everyone was! The support I received is why I’ve been able to sustain weight loss. I owe my life to this practice, these surgeons and the staff! Life before surgery was full of laziness, fast food, and sadness. I hated the way I looked and I didn't know how to make "it" up. Life after surgery is AMAZING! I have more energy and I can shop in regular stores! The New York Bariatric Group is Awesome! I love Dr. Garber and his staff. They make the whole experience worth a million bucks.

Before surgery I was constantly exhausted and out of breath all the time. After lapband surgery with Dr. Garber I have so much more energy. I feel healthier and my blood pressure is much better. Dr. Garber and his staff are all extremely helpful and pleasant.
