I get to see how their lives change. I get to see the impact they have on their family members and their loved ones. It’s overwhelming, and that’s what really drew me to bariatric surgery.-Dr. Clive   Dr. Clive focuses on emphasizing overall health goals and managing the whole person. Conversations with his patients don’t start with just how much weight the patient can plan to lose. Since Dr. Clive cares about each of his patients, his conversations start with how their quality of life is going to change. He performs almost all of his surgeries robotically because he has found that doing so translates to better surgical outcomes with patients benefiting in terms of their length of stay, pain, and their risk for having complications related to incisional hernias. With a dedication to patient safety and excellence in patient care, Dr. Clive performs Roux-en-Y (RNY) Gastric Bypass and Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy (VSG) bariatric surgery procedures for patients 18 years of age and older. Your weight loss journey is personal—and it’s a big decision. That’s why Dr. Clive will tailor your treatment for long-term success that includes continuing education, follow-up care, nutritional counseling, and support groups.
