  • About Me

Hello all! I am Rebecca Luttrell, a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN, LD). I have a Master of Science degree with major in Nutrition. I bring 25+ years of customer service experience and 14+ years of wellness care to this team. I became interested in bariatrics during my intensive dietetic internship rotations. The care of Bariatric patients includes the best parts of dietetics: the combination of clinical skills and nutritional counseling techniques. As a dietitian, I assess, diagnose (nutritionally), intervene, monitor and evaluate patients before and after surgery. I strive to build strong, working relationships with patients and counsel with understanding the commitment patients have to their health and appreciate the level of change bariatric patients go through.

I have a passion for supporting this population of people I serve throughout their journey!

As a dietitian, my role includes assessing patients’ health relating to their current diet, health, and nutrition status during the initial consultation. I help to educate patients in healthier choices of foods, meal frequency, hydration and vitamin supplementation before and after surgery to help incorporate healthy eating habits and patterns for a lifetime. These tools can be applied to both pre and post-surgery diets. The aftercare program allows me to monitor and evaluate patients’ progress and assist by counseling on plateaus, struggles with intake of protein and liquids, vitamin deficiencies and more!

In my spare time I love to spend time with my children, read, travel, bible study and spend time with friends and neighbors.
