Announcement from Dr. Fabio concerning care of foreign patients:

Vitória (ES), September 27, 2010.

To my dear friends and patients,

I write to inform you that I will be temporarily suspending my care to foreign patients. Such a measure is due to a series of concurrent events that led me to make that decision. One of them is the sharp increase in demand for Brazilian patients for post-bariatric plastic surgery.

Another reason is due to the fact that the hospital where I operate, and where I am chief of the post-bariatric plastic surgery sector, is going through renovations in their rooms, with an uncertain time between 1 and 2 years to be finished, which makes it not viable to plan surgery in advance for new foreign patients. Although it is a hospital of high complexity, with excellent infrastructure and skilled nursing group, the current room sector does not have much comfort. Therefore, unfortunately the suspension of services rendered to foreign patients was a decision of which I had no choice.

I greatly appreciate the confidence in my work over the last years, as well as the affection and recognition that patients and families always placed in me. In particular, Wanda Johnson, President, TLC Medical Travel Services, LLC, and all the patients who have accompanied me in my conventions, testifying for me and encouraging new patients to come to Brazil.
