Congratulations to you on your weight loss. I am also glad to know that you are doing better and the fever was not anything serious. I hope you have continued success on your weight loss journey. Best wishes to you.

~*~I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.

Hi All, This is Beth and I wanted to update earlier, but life got the better of me. I'm doing fine and the fever was due to a UTI. I got some good antibiotics and healed nicely. Next week will put me a month out and I'm down 30 lbs so far. Eating has been a trial for me, but that's because I'm learning to eat slowly, chew chew chew and NOT to drink until 1 hour afterwards. Thanks for the support!

Beth came home from the hospital on 7/5. She was glad to be home after the hospital stay. She developed a low grade fever that evening into the next morning which continued to rise. It rose to about 102.3 when we got to the hospital the following day. She is spending the evening at the hospital for observation. We're all praying for her speedy recovery.

Beth came out of surgery with a gold star! She was in the OR for about two hours and had no complications. Dr. Pohl was very pleased with the whole process. The first thing she wanted to do when she got wheeled into her room, was get up and take a walk! She took four walks before the end of the evening, the day of her surgery at that!! I am so proud of you Beth!! Tomorrow will be even better that today as you've really begun the first day of your new life. I love you......
