"When I met with Dr. Kemmeter, I found him to be direct, informative and pleasant. I was impressed with Dr. Kemmeter when I heard him speak at an informational seminar at the Center for Health Excellence, which is why I chose him as my surgeon. Before I went for my surgical consult, I read a book about WLS that scared me to the point that I almost decided not to have the surgery. When I went for my surgical consult, I was a little nervous and and somewhat uncertain about having WLS. Dr. Kemmeter didn't try to convince me one way or the other, but he did help by addressing my concerns and answering all of my questions regarding the after-effects and risks of surgery. Katelyn (I believe she was one of the assistants) was very kind and took her time to explain as much as she could and put my mind at ease. Also, Brian (the psychologist) had a great sense of humor and seemed to be a very caring person. I was treated with respect at MMPCs Center for Health Excellence, which is so important when you're dealing with the issues that overweight patients deal with.
