How to Post a Review

The ObesityHelp Review system allows you to write reviews for multiple surgeons, professionals, and hospitals. 

First, sign in with your username and password if you haven't already.

In the new system, you write reviews directly from the profile of the person you wish to review. You can write a review in 2 easy steps.

Step 1: Find the Surgeon, Professional, or Hospital that you wish to review

For Bariatric and Plastic surgeons with whom you have already had a surgery tracked in our system, you can reach the "Write Review" page directly from MyOH.

You can also add a review directly from our directory listing or the profile of the surgeon, professional, or hospital. If you need help locating your professional, please check out our instructions on Using the ObesityHelp Directory System.

Once you have located the profile of your surgeon, hospital, or professional, click on "Write Review," located on the left side of their profile just under their name.

Step 2: Write review

Once you have reached the "Write Review" page, just fill in the simple form to add your review.

The form is split into three parts (corresponding to the numbers in the image above):

1. First, indicate whether you were a patient of this provider for the time period that this review applies to.
2. Secondly, rate the provider on a scale of one to five stars (one being the worst and five being the best) on each of the categories. For plastic surgeons and hospitals, you will see a series of questions for this section, whereas for baratric surgeons and other professionals, you will only see an "Overall" rating.
3. Lastly, write your comments about the provider here. You can be as detailed as you wish in your account of your experience. Please make sure to adhere to the guidelines provided on the right side of the page (in the grey box) while writing your review.

Once you are finished filling out the form, click "Post Review" to submit your review!

After you have written the review

If you have just reviewed a bariatric or plastic surgeon but have not added a surgery with them in our system, you will be prompted to do so now with the following page:

Click on "Add Procedure Details" if you wish to track a surgery at this time. For further details on how to track surgeries or procedures in our system, view the help page here.

Otherwise, you can click on the "back to profile" link to see your newly added review.
