HEY GUYS!!!!!
Sorry I have been off line for a while. I will be going in to the hospital for surgery at 10 am in the morning. Dr. Inabnet at Columbia Presbyterian has scheduled me as follows. Revision from Gastric Bypass to possible BPD/DS or revision to possible sleeve gastrectomy.
I have had a rough couple of days and have had to opt for staying in a hotel as opposed to my mom's house. I thank all of you for your prayers and support throughout all of this journey.
Melissa Mermaid will be keeping everyone updated.
Hey Melissa in case I forget.....or am to drugged up, thanks for all of your love, support and understanding.

Remember how you prayed when my mom was diagnosed with Colon Cancer....well I don't forget easily. So I called her and we will both be praying for him and your family.

Hey there Sparkly! Welcome to the family. The support that you will find here is a Godsend. I had what I thought was a vbg that now turns out was an RNY without the malabsorption part. I am scheduled to be revised to a DS on 2/28/2007. You are more than welcome to put me on your friends list and contact me with any questions you may have. Once again welcome to the best info. forum for DS around town!

I appreciate all of your help with everything related to this surgeon. I'll try to keep in touch but if I don't call very often....remember that I'm in the middle of a transition period with this relocation and the upcoming surgery. So if I don't reach out....I need you to.

See, you get it too. It was like when I sat down to dinner with the DS buddies in New York. I felt in total peace and security.....I could've let him scrub down and switch me right there and then...
