Hi Lindsey,
Good luck with your search...Everyone will tell you their doc is the best...I am no exception...
I personally love Dr. Sonnanstine...2 sisters and my daughter and I have all had surg. with him.
One sis. had lap band...the rest of us had by pass...
My advice...research..go in for consultation...and pick the one that you are most comfortable with.
All docs have different pre and post programs..

Well, My surgery is scheduled...7/24...Having abdominal hernia repair by Dr. Tom, then Dr Sillins is doing a circumfrential lower body lift afterwards...I am so excited...and scared to death...

I saw him this past week for my 18 months followup appointment. Everything that has been said is so true....You really feel special when you see him...With all the patients that he has he remembers the little things...that really mean a lot....Coments like
wow...look at you...new hair....new glasses...etc...you know right off that he remembers you...(as if he could forget anyone in my crazy family...lol)
He has changed history in my family. We love him...and Thank God and him everyday of our lives...

If you are concerned, you should call...That is what they are there for. I do not know your Doc, but am sure that he would want you to call if you have any questions or concernes.

This is normal, due to all the IV fluids you recieved during surgery...Trust me...the scale WILL start going backwards...Keep up the good work...it sounds like you are doing what you are supposed to do...This is the hard part....TRY TO STAY OFF THE SCALE....all it does is get you discouraged...I was one that could never lose either...now 130 pounds gone...and am 16 months post op...
I know how you feel...I felt the same way, and was sure that I would be the one that it did not work for...But it does....Hang in there...

She is a wonderful mom...But I am a WONDERFUL GRANDMA...CAUSE I AM THE ONE THAT MADE SURE THEY GOT TO GO .....LOL....It helps that I am going out with a clown...LOL...It was fun...Glad we went.....You should see the pics of the snake the kids held...

I know what you mean...Brenda was with all 4 of us when we had our surgeries..and was really glad she was...especially the first of us had it done...Don't know what we would have done without her...She definately knows her stuff...and has a way of easing your fears...
