POST OP UPDATE ON JANET DECKELMAN

I just came home from St. Alexius Hospital and visiting Janet. She was in really good spirits, in some pain; and said the bed was killing her. IMAGINE THAT!!!! She seemed very upbeat over the fact that even though she thought she would have to spend one night in ICU because of being on her CPAP machine she didn't have to go that route. She said Dr. Wagner said she did really well throughout the surgery. We talked a lot about what I experienced after my surgery and even though mine was OPEN RNY and hers was laproscopic I shared (I HOPE) the good that will come after this experience. She said a lot of people from the support group had called to check on her. Hope this keeps you updated on her progress. Hey Betty! Thanks so much for the update on Jan! I've had her in my thoughts and prayers. I'm so glad she is doing well and has maintained an upbeat attitude. It was so nice to FINALLY meet you last week at DePaul! Congrats on breaking that plateau! You look fantastic! Are you going to be able to make it to the Spring Fling this Saturday?
