Hi Linda,

Wonderful post Linda! Sorry for the delayed response, been in a bit of funk lately, haven't been on much, but glad to hear you are doing well.

I too had my first alcoholic drink last weekend, when I was visiting my cousin in the states. I only had one. I too wanted to wait for me to be a year out too, but life happens.

I would have been caught off guard too with the customer's question, but your right, doubts will be there, its normal. However, this tool gives us the best chance for success.

I relate to a lot of what you said in your post, outside of the energy. My energy has been in the dumps, but I plan to see my GP soon about this. Could be various things a play.

Keep on doing what your doing Linda, you've been so successful!

Take care.

Hello Amanda,

I, too, was in a bit of a funk this weekend and although I got lots done around the house, felt a bit down and grumpy - not my usual self. Life does happen and we will have ups and downs - accepting them for the short term and getting back to ourselves as quickly as possible is what is most beneficial for us.

I have half a bottle of wine in the fridge and it will remain there until Christmas - or later. It is not on my plan, so it shouldn't be in my mouth. I find that when I justify a bit, I can justify a lot more - not good and I do know better.

I'm sending you a blast of energy now and a virtual hug. You are also doing incredibly well and that isn't just measured by the scale or the tape.

We're doing well and I am so grateful for that.

Linda

Everything went really well, was discharged after lunch the following day. Went out today with my husband to take the kids to school and we walked around kroger for an hour to get some groceries and walking in at the same time. A little tender in the gut still but I'm sure thats expected.
