Gas-X strips and a pillow you can hold to your tummy for your trip home.

I would advise only having on hand a FEW protein drinks that you like now--you might not like them post op. If you really like chicken broth or beef broth, more power to you, but I had to drink strained soup. PERIOD. Sugar free popsicles made it complete.

I picked up a variety of sample packs of unjury from my dr office (freebies... LOL)  and I went to GNC and picked up a variety of ready made sugar free protein drinks, and i picked up a few of those bullet protein test tube lookin things... lol   Also I have sugar free crystal light and I am going to make some home made popsicles today (makes me think of when I was a kid  LOL)  If I forgot anything I will make my boyfriend get it for me... he'll love that... I can imagine him in the store lookin lost and not wanting to ask for help... He tries dear heart...

I got a great Halloween pedi for my October surgery! It was a fun thing to do with a good friend. I made every nurse look at my toes! One of them thought I was gonna show him some wicked fungus!

Best of luck to you, see you on the losing side!

I am going tomorrow for a french manicure and- pediure... last week I had my eyebrows threaded... very cool   and I got my hair trimmed.   I figure I wanted a little pick me up before surgery.  I asked the surgery center if they remove nail polishes and they said they dont cut nails or remove polish.  So I figure I will go for it.... LOL   woo hoo
