I think fitting into smaller clothes is the BEST NSV. It makes it all seem real. congratulations. And remember this is just the start. There are many more NSV's on the way!

It's funny how this is one of my focus points as well. I want to be an XL just so I can shop anywhere. I am currently a Lane Bryant/Avenue only kind of girl and would love options. My husband has promised me a whole new wardrobe once I hit XL. (Surgery is coming up on 09-11)

VSG on 07/10/13 with

NSV= Non Scale Victory. Like going down in clothing sizes, crossing your legs, no seat belt extender for flights etc.

This is so, so cool. A whole new world just opened up for you! Check out other stores as well - you may find that while you're a 28 at Lane's, you might be a 26 or 24 at another store.
