What a great NSV! The dishes! Oh how I hate them! My boobs and belly are always soaked so I totally relate! Was your goal to weight less than your dog? (Did I read that right?)  You must have a giant dog! I have a 143 lb Newfoundland and if I get below that I will be shocked!

That sort of brings me to another question. Does anyone know why most WLS patients don't lose 100% of the excess weight? It seems like they (soon to be "we") should. Are those people just not working the program? Is it just that everyone's body is different? I am about 5 weeks from surgery and having those "I will be the only one who doesn't lose a pound" fear starting.

Congratulations on your loss and being able to tackle the dishes and remain dry!

OMG!!!OMG!!!!OMG!!!!!

I HAVE A 140 LB NEWFIE!!!!!!!

shes a just a furry bunch o' love and DROOL!!!!!!

EDITED TO ADD...cause I didn't read past... I have a Newfoundland.... LOL..

I'm not quite sure why some don't lose to 100% excess weight..

I have to say I Defiantly started getting a bit complacent once I hit a normal BMI

which for me was 154.. The lowest I remember being in my life was 150

so although I wanted to get to goal( which by the way, I just pulled outta thin air)

Dr. And NUT would have been happy with me at 150ish..

so I Defiantly started to snack here and there...eat a carb here or there..

as long as I reign it in, not let the bad eating go past the day I'm going off plan,

I'm fine..it's actually to not have 1 bad day turn into 2 weeks (Christmas was BAD!!)

thats the trick.
