tailbone pain after surgery
This is a bit embarrassing but I want to ask here before I go to the doctor. After having lost 115 pounds I find that I have pain in (or on) my tailbone when I sit or lay down. Is this because all that extra padding is gone or is it something I should be concerned with? It isn't a boil or anything like that, the actual bone hurts. Thanks for ANY feedback.

OMG I was going to post this exact thing!!!! Ever since losing weight, my tailbone is so sore after sitting or lying down for awhile. I was assuming it was because I didn't have all that padding anymore; but then what, does every skinny person's @ss hurt ???? lol. Maybe our bodies just need to adjust. I just think it is so funny that someone posted this. Hope your @ss feels better soon!
Oh yes, I have this problem too... especially on airplanes, I just cry... ugh.
I actually went to my doctor and she said there is nothing that can be done.... boooo. She did tell me that those donut pillows help. I have ended up having to adjust the way I sit on certain chairs.... leaning or crossing legs helps.
I do wish there was something else out there that helps.
WIshing you luck!
